Apple and Cabbage Slaw

1small head cabbage, shredded or thinly sliced
2carrots, shredded
2apples, cored and chopped
¼cup chopped red onion
¼cup white balsamic raspberry vinegar
3tablespoons canola oil
1tablespoon sugar
¾teaspoon celery seeds
½teaspoon coarse salt
¼teaspoon finely ground black pepper

In a large mixing bowl, stir together shredded cabbage, carrots, apple, and red onion; set aside.

In a small bowl, whisk together the vinegar, canola oil, sugar, celery seeds, coarse salt, and black pepper. Pour the vinegar mixture over the cabbage and toss well. Cover and chill until ready to serve.

Recipe serves 10.
