Blue Raspberry Margarita| Christy Rost
- 1 lime wedge
- Coarse salt, for garnish
- 1 cup ice cubes
- 1/2 ounce simple syrup
- Juice of 1/2 fresh lime
- 2 1/2 ounces gold tequila
- 1 1/2 ounces blue raspberry cocktail mix
- 1 ounce triple sec
Rub the rim of a cocktail glass with a lime wedge and dip the glass in a plate of coarse salt; set aside.
Fill a cocktail shaker half full with ice cubes. Add simple syrup, lime juice, tequila, blue raspberry cocktail mix, and triple sec. Cover and shake until the mixture is well chilled. Strain the cocktail into the prepared glass.
Yield: 1 cocktail
