Cinnamon Fry Bread

  • Reserved half recipe of fry bread dough
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 ½ teaspoons cinnamon
  • ¼ teaspoon freshly grated nutmeg
  • Little Bear Blossom Honey, for garnish
  • In a small bowl, stir together sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg until well blended; set it aside.

Divide dough into 4 equal pieces and shape it into flat discs about ½-inch thick. Carefully place dough in remaining hot oil and cook 2 to 3 minutes on each side until they are golden brown.

Remove the fry breads from the oil, drain on paper towels, and immediately dust them with cinnamon sugar mixture. Serve with honey.
