- 8 ounces frozen limeade
- 6 ounces white rum
- 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup mint leaves, stems removed and densely packed
- 3 to 4 cups ice cubes
- 1 lime wedge, for garnish
- sparkling sugar, for garnish
- mint leaves, for garnish
In a blender, combine limeade, rum, sugar, and mint leaves. Pulse the mixture several times to mix. Add ice cubes and blend until the mixture is smooth and the mint is finely chopped.
Rub the rims of the glasses with the lime wedge and dip them in a plate of sparkling sugar. Pour in the cocktail mixture and top garnish with mint leaves.
Recipe makes 6 to 8 cocktails.
