Melon Cooler

½ cup ripe cantaloupe, cubed

½ cup lemonade

Ice cubes

½cup ripe cantaloupe, cubed
½cup lemonade
Ice cubes
¼cup ginger ale
1ounce mango nectar
1ounce simple syrup

Purée the cantaloupe with the lemonade in a blender until the mixture is smooth, and transfer it to a cocktail shaker filled with ice.

Add ginger ale, mango nectar, and simple syrup. Cover, shake until the mixture is chilled, and strain it into a cocktail glass.

Yield: 1 cocktail
